Niki, I am right there with you. I have not stopped yet. I am taking Lortab for the expander pain and it makes me smoke more. As soon as the pain is gone from the last fill, I'll quit. I am a recovering alcoholic and I did not stop right away. It took me several times before I got it. So that is what I am doing with my smoking. I just keep trying and never give up.
jpann, I am a little behind on the threads but you are welcome to come over during the Persiad meteor shower which is usually in August. My husband and I do put our sleeping bags on the lounge chairs and watch. All the animals curl up with us. Hopefully, it will be a clear night when the viewing is the best. We have seen some very large ones in the past. Unfortunately, the hollyhocks are now gone. I got the seeds and threw the rest in the fields hoping to start them growing there.
Well, it housework today. I am so glad I quit work. I worked 60-70 hours a week as a hospital business office director for 18 years so I figured it was ok to retire at 46. I work part time at a frame shop/art gallery and love it. I get to meet all kinds of interesting artists and enjoy seeing what people bring into frame. Of course, now my walls are covered in paintings and pictures and I am always trying to find another nitch to put something in.
There was some earlier talk about tatoos. I got one 25 years ago when it was shocking for a woman to have a tatoo! It was during my drinking days and I ran around with some biker types and just had to shock my mom with a tatoo. I was a Latin major in college and got a pegasus. Of course, now it has faded and is just a blob on my left shoulder. I have never had the urge to get another one.
Well, off to clean the house.

Wow, the highjackers must have had a BUSY weekend!!!! I know mine was....I went to my mans place for the weekend, which is about a 5 hr drive....he took me to a place called Sauvie Island....the entire island is covered with "you pick", you can find anything that grows from produce to flowers...it was absolutely beautiful with so much color.....we didnt drive around the entire island so Im not sure how large it is but you definately couldnt see one side across to the other...It is just north of Portland Or....we had planned to go to Astoria, Or for a seafood dinner but played on the island too long....
Any of you remember the movies Goonies? Astoria is were it was filmed....I have been over the bridge from the move many times.....
