BLESSINGS AND PRAYERS TO ALL OF YOUR FAMILY!

We serve a Living God and he says that if we abide in Him that He will abide in us. His plan is perfect. I pray that we find peace and understanding through these troubling time. Please don't be sad. Rejoice in the power of God who is at hand. I wake every morning and say, "Rejoice! This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Despite the problems of the world, we can celebrate what God has for us. Life is a gift. Celebrate even on your sick bed.. Speak life over yourself and your loved ones.... God is able, stephanie

How're you doing, my dear?
-
Stephanie, Just want you to know that you are in my prayers. Knowing God is in control is one of the most awesome feelings in the world. I pray that He gives you strength to handle your future, no matter what it holds. Gods knows what the future is and He is with you every step of the way. I also know that you are aware of that and I want you to know you are such an inspiration to me. Your faith is amazing and I know God will reward you for being so faithful. Even though the Tennessee Thread doesn't see much action these days, I still think of you often and keep up with you. If you need ANYTHING, PM me and I will help in whatever way I can. Healing prayers and gentle thoughts for you. Bonny

Stephanie, It's hard I know but trust in God, give God the praise. I still believe that God is in control. Be blessed. May God continue to bless you.
Stay in prayer

More prayers on the way. God bless

Stephanie was having difficulty walking and was in pain yesterday. She went to the ER and is in need of your prayers, hugs and support. Will keep you posted as information develops...

Howdy, all...
I haven't spoken directly to Stephanie yet, but I did talk to her godmother today. She is having quite a time of it as Stephanie is very much like her own daughter (in fact, they are the same age). I'm sure no one here is surprised that it is Stephanie who is being the reassuring force, reminding everyone she speaks to that God truly is still on the throne and that He alone is able.
I hope to be able to at least get a mailing address so we can send cards to our Stephanie to let her know we are thinking of and praying for her. Will keep you posted as soon as I know more, but please keep Stephanie and her family in your thoughts today...
-
Dear Deb, Dear Stephanie: You are in my prayers right now, actually this whole sad week. Dear God, please help these two ladies and help all of us, too.
Amen.

Just heard from Stephanie's godmother. She is being discharged from the hospital this afternoon. She is doing as well as can be expected physically, but has some concerns with other issues; sufice to say she will be making the rounds appointment-wise trying to get the stuff done she feels she needs to at this point. Please continue to lift her up in prayer Edited to add: and her family as well...
I should have an address by the end of the day, so if you'd like to send her a card or anything, pm me and I'll get it to you.

Hi everybody! Glad to be back home. There's no place like HOME. First Hospice isn't an option. This was a discussion that a resident intern had with me but after talking with the rest of the team they say that chemo is still an option for me therefore Hospice isn't. Don't know why she brought Hospice in the picture but I'm not going there..... I've still got a dog in this fight. I feel somewhat better. I still have pain in my liver and my back sometimes. I had another lumbar puncture yesterday and will meet with the Neuro doctor Friday. As always, Vanderbilt was great to me and went to every extreme to check things out and turn over every leaf. I feel confident in my team and what they've got lined up for me. I go back to my Onc on the 21st. Thank you ladies for your prayers and love. Even though I haven't read all your post I will read each and every one of them after I get rested. The hospital food was quite tasty. XOXO God is able, stephanie
-

Thank you Felicia for being my voice while i was in the hospital. I pray that this (health setback) is a slight stumbling block and that things will get back to normal soon. I don't know what I would do without the refuge of this place and the faith and encouragement that we give each other. It means more to me now than ever before. I really have found a reason to continue to live here. Thank you all for the gifts of words and encouragement that you give out daily. You never know how you touch someone's life. God is able, stephanie
-
I am still making my way around the site and sending some prayers up for you Stephanie.

Hi Ladies
I'm sorry, I forgot to post and let you all know that I'm doing much better! I went to ER and had IV fluids, ate breakfast, had an episode in the ladies room and then it was decided to stop the chemo until I go to the Onc. I was due to stop taking it (Xeloda) on today anyway and start my 1 week break. I have a bone scan tomorrow to check on the protruding nodule on my clavicle. Other than breast cancer, life is good. We need a cure! Continue to pray. God is able, stephanie
-
Praying for you, Stephanie. I'm so glad you're feeling better!
