Hello, everyone!

I can't believe I FORGOT to post this back in July when my anniversary really was!!  But, I did.  Maybe that's even more of a testament to really being able to leave cancer behind once treatment is over.  I know when I was going through treatment, I loved reading posts about women who were through it and feeling good.  AND had hair. LOL!!

Anyway, sending out warm thoughts and hugs to all!

Congrats, Shannon, thanks for posting. This month marks my 4th year out! There were times when I never thought I would make it, but now I'm pretty positive about the future (touch wood). Never thought retirement-saving could feel so good... lol.

Hi Shannon...Happy anniversary...I was 8-years out this past JUly too and also neglected to post...I agree, it is important to post survivorship milestones to give newbies something tangible to hold on to...As awful as it all was, I think after 5-years it began to recede into the realm of history...By the way, my discovery day was July 24th...showering to go to beach...well...I know you all can fill in the blanks...Shannon so happy you are here and thanks for reminding me to help everyone keep the faith....
