Follow up tests - breast MRI and mammo together?

I have my follow up test coming up for my 4th year and wanted to ask you if Breast MRI and Mammo have to be done together as a testing.

Had lumpectomy with 7 lymph nodes affected and oncologist reccomend to have MRI and Mammo.

Do you have MRI and Mammo together as a test?

Wondering if it is too much as a testing and i'm unders stress....

    For 2 years following treatment, I had a mammo and MRI. But they were staged about 6 months apart - I liked that because I figured I was being watched more continuously, a shorter interval for anything to develop. I don't think there are any hard and fast rules about timing... go with what you're comfortable with.
