Any TN's have a nipple sparing mastectomy?
My BS said i am a candatidate for it but I am nervous being i had an aggressive tumor!!! SHe said there is minimal to no tissue left. HELP!

I had nipple sparing BMX Feb 5th! My surgeon and Oncologist said the same thing and I never questioned them.. I love my foobs even with just the expanders... will get my implants later this year. My sister is schedule for the same surgery ( preventive) next month... I am so happy this was an option for me. I don't believe all surgeons are doing this surgery. Best of luck

Why are you waiting so long to put perm implants in?

I had 33 radiation treatments. My PS waits 6-9 months after rads. My sister who is getting a preventive surgery is getting her implants at the time of her BMX... No expanders for her.

Is your sister having a nipple sparing bmx? Are they using alloderm?

She is having a nipple sparing BMX and they are not using alloderm... It wasn't used on me either and I'm happy with the results.
